paradeiro deles de perto. Neste blog vamos divulgar o trabalho dos caras, com
datas e locais de shows, notícias e outras informações. Em agosto, vamos
segui-los até a Europa, onde farão uma turnê passando pela Alemanha, Finlândia e
Rússia, e você vai poder acompanhar tudo por aqui, sem perder nada!
E para quem caiu de paraquedas...
Dez pessoas vestidas com trajes vitorianos (com toda a obscuridade a que o
termo tem direito), exibindo no rosto uma maquiagem digna dos filmes do Tim
Burton e carregando para cima e para baixo uma parafernália, que vai desde
andaime até peruca loira. Assim é a Banda
Steiger Brasil. Formado em 2010, o grupo faz um som que mistura
berro, rock, teatro, pirotecnia, jogo de imagens e ótimas letras para
transmitir a mensagem da Cruz, explicitamente encenada nos minutos finais. O
show tem duração de sete músicas, todas escritas pelos próprios integrantes,
que formam um espetáculo com começo, meio e fim. O foco do trabalho da banda
não é o público cristão, mas todos os jovens que abraçam uma cultura global
secularizada, no meio da qual a igreja se tornou uma instituição irrelevante. O
Steiger Brasil toca nas casas de
show mais variadas das capitais brasileiras, onde poucos cristãos teriam
coragem de pisar.

If you’re already familiar with NLM Brazil, you can now closely monitor their
whereabouts. On this blog, we’re going to broadcast their work, as well as
concert dates and locations, news, and all types of information regarding the
band. In August, we’ll follow them to Europe, where they’ll be touring in

Ten people wearing Victorian garb (with all the obscurity the term implies),
wearing some Tim-Burtonesque makeup and carrying around such paraphernalia
ranging from a scaffold to a blond wig. That’s NLM Brazil. Formed in 2010, the
band create a sound that mixes screamo, rock, acting, projected images, and
great lyrics, in order to communicate the message of the Cross, openly
performed at the last minutes of the show. It lasts for seven songs, all of
them written by the band members themselves, and it’s a set with beginning,
middle, and end. Their focus isn’t the Christian audience, but all the youth
that embrace this whole secularized global culture in which the church has
become irrelevant. NLM Brazil plays at clubs in different Brazilian capital cities,
where very few Christians would feel like
going.
